What sort of Clothing Should I wear?
Comfortable casual clothing allowing for easy movement is best.
What sort of Shoes do I Need?
Dress shoes usually work best. Backless shoes and thongs don't move with your feet, and so aren't suitable. Bare feet are not permitted on the dance floor.
Do I need to Bring a Partner?
Group classes usually have a variety of couples and singles in attendance. It isn't necessary to bring a partner.
What Age Groups attend classes?
Adult classes cater for all ages from 16 years onwards.
Classes are also available for Tiny Tots, Kids, Teens, Under 25s, Adults and the daytime Active Over 50s. Call and we can advise what class is suited to your specific needs.
Do I need to bring food or drink?
Light refreshments (tea, coffee or water) are provided at most classes, however if you would like to bring bottled water with you, please feel free to do so.
What does a class look like?
Group classes usually consist of lessons taken by myself, interspersed with opportunities to practise what is learnt, occasionally followed by either open practise or eventually social dancing, where you can apply, refine, but most importantly: enjoy your achievements.
Individual lessons (private tuition) take the form of one or two persons, plus the instructor. This allows for detailed, personalised tuition. This enables you to master the specific skills and styles you are interested in. This includes Wedding preparation for couples, or the total Wedding party.
Technique classes are also available
